Automations and backups

Set up Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, USB copies, print notifications and event deployment together.

Photos stay on the photo booth. Additional copies and automations run in the background.

Private copies in the cloud

  1. Open Save & Share in the portal and connect Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive.
  2. Enable the additional copies you want in the event. Several destinations can be used at the same time.
  3. Check the status under Save & Share in the app. Completed means that the relevant provider has confirmed the file.

Authorisation covers the files managed by FotoboxSuite. It does not enable a guest gallery. Providers that are not yet configured are shown accordingly.

USB and connection interruptions

Under Save & Share, select the storage device once and enable the USB copy in the event. The device is recognised even if its drive letter changes. Unavailable destinations are retried later. Automatic clean-up retains local originals with outstanding copies.

Druckautomation

In the portal, create an automation profile with an HTTPS destination and the Print submitted trigger, test it and select it in the event. The count covers copies submitted to Windows, not paper output confirmed by the printer. Print jobs with an uncertain outcome are not automatically printed again.

Several photo booths

Update all photo booths to the current version. For an event with a print limit, distribute quotas across devices in the event settings. Offline quotas already allocated can only be increased. A single photo booth receives its quota automatically.

Local scripts and API

Local EXE or PowerShell files are authorised only on the photo booth under Automations → Advanced. If a file changes, it must be authorised again. Run Studio normally without administrator rights. Existing Windows script policies still apply. Unchanged compatibility with dslrBooth scripts is not assumed.

API access and documentation for your own order-management software are available in the portal under Automations → Advanced.

Event ready

The portal marks an event as ready only after the photo booth has confirmed its current configuration and files and has been reachable recently. Before use, also check the camera and printer with a complete workflow.
